He decided to make a movie devoted to this problem and implemented the Rajiv Chandrasekaran's literary exposé in life. “The Green Zone was a heavily fortified zone in the center of the Iraqi capital that served as the headquarters of successive Iraqi regimes. It was the administrative center for the Ba'ath Party. The area was not originally home to the villas of government officials, though it was very important and was home to many military bases, several government ministries, and a number of palaces of Saddam Hussein and his family. The largest of these was the Republican Palace that was Saddam's primary seat of power. The area is known as Karradat Mariam, named for the famous woman who helped thousands of poor people in Baghdad.†Chandrasekaran told about the chief of Washington Post in Baghdad who tried to set up a provisional government in Saddam Hussein’s wealthy palace. The author showed the cruel reality of Iraq war and people’s life during these events. Greengrass took the novel and created his own story about an officer trying to unearth the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Plot: Roy Miller is an American officer. He is sure that Iraq leader Hussein hides the dangerous weapon in the desert. He joins another officer to start the search. They move from one place to another facing too many riddles. But one time officers find an elaborate cover up. They want to declare about this covert but the government plays the other game. Roy faces injustice and lie. Will the truth help to stop increasingly growing war? Find the answers in a movie. Watch the trailer and download “Green Zone†movie soon!
