It was directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan and based on the DC Comics character Batman. In a town named Gotham the criminal genius appears. His name is Joker. Viewers get to know that his name is connected with his appearance: he has a make-up for frightening his opponents. By the way his face is disfigured with scars on the cheeks. They create his everlasting smile. Batman declares about the beginning of his war against mafia. Under support of the new district attorney Harvey Dent the police led by detective Jim Gordon detect all mafia banks. It is done by using marked bonds in order to confiscate money funds. But the business failures because Mr. Lau’s Chinese partner transfers all the money to another, more safe place. Batman has to go to Hong Kong to tale Lau back to Gotham. At this time rising criminal genius Joker kills district attorney with the help of his confederates. Batman is going to catch Joker and bring him to Gordon. But soon all movie heroes will understand how strong the Joker’s power is… Joker. We can think, speak and write a lot about this character. But I think Heath Ledger created one of the brightest types of all movies’ history. He makes us think what would happen next. The actor gave all his skills and forces to his personage. Bravo! There is no doubt this role is worthy for Oscar. Batman. Christian Bale…He also did his best and the character seems to be good acted. Batman came out as just, fair and sensory person. This role is not so colorful as Joker but Bale as an actor does not drop behind Ledger Ledger’s death on January 22, 2008 gave birth to many rumors about this movie. People said that it had to be retaken. But by that moment all scenes were completed. As Ledger said this role was too hard for him, too “demonic”. He really felt bad as physically and mentally poor person. “Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night,” he said. “I couldn’t stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going.” The whole world will always remember this perfect actor! The film received numerous awards nominations and two Academy Awards for Best Sound Editing and Best Supporting Actor for Ledger's performance. Download “The dark Knight” movie! |
