“District 9” movie debuted in 2009. It is the science fiction movie directed by Neill Blomkamp. The story is based on the short 2005 film called “Alive in Joburg”. On its opening weekends the movie earned $37 millions and won the viewers’ love at once. At least the film picked up $203,600,000.

“District 9” is the story about the aliens space ship stopped on the Earth.

>More than 20 years ago aliens made the first contact with the earthmen. The people were ready to everything: from the hostile entrance to the huge technological breakthrough. But nothing happened. Aliens turned to be refugees from their own planet. While the society was thinking what to do with them, the special camp was created in South African district #9.

Associated Press told about the film the following: "District 9 has the aesthetic trappings of science fiction but it's really more of a character drama, an examination of how a man responds when he's forced to confront his identity during extraordinary circumstances."
